Money Access Center, an interbank network operating ATMs and POS terminals, is especially bad, considering the multiple meanings of ATM and POS. Does ATM mean Asynchronous Transfer Mode or Automated Teller Machine? How many different combinations of MAC, ATM, and POS are there? :-)
