Summarize a real-world legal case where IT culture clashed with law enforcement culture. For example, find a case where IT professionals, citing legal grounds, withheld digital evidence; or a case where ISP engineers refused to log accesses to websites; or where computer programmers disagreed with law enforcement on the interpretation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA); or any other case where there were major disagreements between "computer people" and law enforcement or government officials.
Searching online is a great way to research this. Do not copy and paste from the Internet, though. Paraphrase the topic in your own words and include the source(s) of your information. Hand in a one-page paper that uses a 12-point font and double spacing.
